I loved my room at A Casa Do Tenente! It had such a cozy and homely feel to it. The natural light coming in through the windows made it even better. And let's not forget the fully equipped private bathroom with a shower - so convenient! As a business traveler, I really appreciated having all these comforts.
That there wasn't a patio. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

Conveniently situated in the center of the universe, this hostel is a mere stone's throw away from anywhere you'd want to go. Absolutely delightful host and cozy rooms. Loved every minute of my stay.
Who needs air con when you have a fan? Air circulation is so overrated.

We had a fantastic stay at A Casa Do Tenente! the owner, Paulo, and his employee, Mónica, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. the room and premises were clean and well, kept, with no sign of any mold in the bathroom. the kitchen was cozy and well, equipped. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the historical center and close to the ferries and beautiful attractions. We also appreciated the noise isolation, despite being in a busy and loud part of the city. Paulo even went above and beyond by helping us with moving furniture and letting us store our luggage after check, out.
Absolutely nothing! .

The value for money at this place is unbeatable. The room was cozy, clean, and provided the perfect amount of privacy. The location was ideal, close to all the action but still quiet.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was more variety.

Conveniently located in the center, I could easily explore the city and find a bus to the beach. Didn't need breakfast, the well-equipped kitchen was my morning hangout spot. Nice room with a private bathroom and terrace access.
Who needs a good night's sleep anyway? The noisy hotel next door provided a never-ending soundtrack to my stay.

A Casa Do Tenente is a charming guest house located in the heart of town. The renovated building exudes old-world charm and offers a cozy and private atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and provide all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The shared spaces, including the kitchen and living room, are beautifully decorated and perfect for relaxation. Despite being close to all the action, once inside, you feel completely removed from the hustle and bustle. The proprietors, Pedro and Paolo, are friendly and helpful, ensuring that your needs are met. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Faro.
Although the room was lovely, I would have appreciated more shelving in the shower and bathroom area to make getting ready in the morning easier. the noise from nearby bars and clubs could be a little bothersome for light sleepers.
